Roller Restart

Location:

Tuam Street, City Centre

Date:

2013 July

Roller Restart was designed to provide a space for skating in all its forms in the recovering city - roller, inline, boarding, ice

Post quake, despite there being a large skate community in town, did not have any dedicated space to skate. Roller Restart provided an outdoor rink for the skate community. It was built by the skate community, and was used for roller discos, roller derby, hockey, and free skating.
