Nomadic Sauna

Members of the public were invited to sit on the ground (covered with eucalyptus leaves) by the crackling fire and enjoy a Native American inspired sauna, right in the heart of the city.

The Nomadic Sauna was a portable sauna that was put together and dismantled to sit on different sites. The pine wood-structured, canvas-covered dome and pot-belly stove provide a unique space within an urban context. It was assembled on the first day of FESTA 2013 and hosted sessions throughout the festival. On site at The Garden, there was also space for changing and a bath as well.
